A trail worth walking!

As part of the Mayor’s Carnival Parade and Family Fun Day at Wallace Park, we’re creating a sustainability trail to engage and inspire visitors with practical, eco-friendly advice. From waste reduction to sustainable living, our trail will encourage everyone to make a positive impact on the planet.

We’ll also be hosting an eco-treasure hunt on the day so keep your eyes peeled for hidden environmentally friendly tips scattered along the trail. You could be one of 10 lucky winners to take home an eco-goodie bag filled with lots of sustainable prizes!

Councillor Kurtis Dickson, Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, said: “As someone who is passionate about environmental issues, I’m encouraging everyone to check out our Sustainability Trail and learn how small changes can make a big difference to our planet.  I’m excited about the sustainability slant to this year’s family fun day and hope you all get involved. It’s going to be a fantastic experience!”
