LCCC Residents' Magazine : Summer 2024

Ready, steady – parkrun!

We work with local groups, agencies and organisations to improve the mental and physical health, as well as the wellbeing, of our residents.

parkrun has proved to be a really popular initiative and we have five routes in our area.

These are fun, free events which are run by volunteers.  Two are for younger residents and three are for all ages.

Remember: parkruns use shared paths so please be considerate towards other users when taking part.

To get involved, all you need to do is sign up and bring the barcode you’ll be sent to each session.  Don’t forget that you can walk the route if you need to or take part in a structured training programme with the Parkrun organisers to set your ‘personal best’.

Sign up and get your barcode here ➡️ https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/?section=form
