WIN one of five Refill Goodie Bags this World Refill Day (Sunday 16 June)
World Refill Day is a global campaign to prevent plastic pollution and help people live with less waste and transition away from single-use plastic towards refill & reuse systems.
Councillor Pat Catney, Chair of the Council’s Environment and Sustainability Committee, said “We are encouraging residents and visitors to ‘Step-up for Reuse’ and eat, drink, and shop with less waste this World Refill Day, and every day.”
- Refill your water bottle for free at any of the 10 Refill stations across Lisburn and Castlereagh. Details of the locations can be found here
- Have your coffee on the move with a reusable hot drinks cup
- Grab lunch on the go with your own lunchbox
- Shop plastic-free by remembering your reusable shopping bags and selecting zero waste, loose, or minimally packaged options, where you can
