From statement furniture and vintage jewellery to decorative pieces with a past, a new antiques fair is inviting visitors to enjoy a weekend of discovery at Larchfield Estate this September.
The first Great Antiques Fair will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, bringing together dealers, collectors, interiors fans and anyone who loves the thrill of finding something unique.
Created by event producer Joanne McErlain and antiques enthusiast Lynne McCabe, the fair will feature fine furniture, art, decorative objects, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, mid-century design and vintage gems. Visitors can also take in expert talks, live demonstrations and local food while enjoying the historic surroundings of Larchfield Estate.
The weekend will welcome established Northern Irish businesses alongside dealers from across the UK and Ireland, giving visitors the chance to browse one-of-a-kind pieces, meet the people behind them and perhaps take home something special.
The event is being supported by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council through its Tourism Major Event Grant. Alderman James Baird, Regeneration and Growth Chair, said: “The Great Antiques Fair is a welcome new addition to the local events calendar, and we are pleased to support it as it opens the doors to visitors from near and far.
“It promises to be a great weekend for anyone who loves antiques, interiors, craftmanship or simply a good day out. Events like this help showcase what our area has to offer, support local businesses and encourage visitors to explore more of Lisburn and Castlereagh.”
The council’s Tourism Major Event Grant helps bring standout events to the area, supporting experiences that attract visitors, raise the profile of Lisburn Castlereagh and benefit local businesses.
The Great Antiques Fair takes place at Larchfield Estate on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026. Entry tickets are available now via Eventbrite.
