Zero Waste Week is the perfect time to think about how much we consume and throw away, and to look for ways to reduce our environmental impact.
To help you get started, we are giving you the chance to WIN a zero waste lunch pack to help you refill and reuse.
Environment and Sustainability Committee Chair, Alderman Sharon Skillen, said: “Reducing your environmental impact can seem daunting, but we can all take some simple steps to minimise waste and live more sustainably. It’s about progress, not perfection.
“Zero Waste Week is the perfect time to start making changes. By reducing waste and becoming more sustainable, we can all save money, preserve resources and protect the environment.”

*Each lunch pack includes a stainless-steel insulated water bottle, insulated hot drinks cup, bento box, and recycled cotton tote bag.
The competition is for LCCC residents only and closes on Sunday 13th September 2026. Winners will be selected at random.
