Our Entrepreneurs Network 2025/26 schedule of events came to a close in style this week, with a sold-out event at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

Business leaders and representatives from a wide variety of sectors across Lisburn and Castlereagh joined us to hear from Lord Mark Price on going ‘Beyond The Crowd – The Power of Standing Out’. With experience in the boardroom, business frontline and government, Lord Price was well placed to help attendees explore how to differentiate themselves for success in competitive markets.

As well as leadership roles at Channel 4, John Lewis and Waitrose, Lord Price is a former UK Government Minister for Trade and Investment, and is the founder of WorkL, a global platform for measuring workplace happiness and strengthening company culture.

Councillor Claire Kemp, Regeneration & Growth Chair, opened the event with words of welcome for our guests and speaker. She said: “This evening was the ideal way to close out a highly successful season of well-attended events for the Entrepreneurs Network. The programme has explored a range of relevant topics such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, and social media marketing.

“I was also delighted to be involved in the series of ‘Women Who Lead’ events hosted by the Entrepreneurs Network to help female business leaders develop courage and confidence.

“I would like to thank everyone for their support of our Entrepreneurs Network throughout the year and encourage others to join us again in September for the 2026-2027 series.”
