People who live, work, visit or travel through Lambeg are being invited to share their views on plans for a new car park on Station Road.
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is asking the local community for feedback on a proposal to create a 13-space car park to help address parking pressures in the area. The proposed development could provide additional off-street parking, improve access to local amenities and green spaces, and help make the area safer for pedestrians and road users.
Before any decisions are made, the council wants to hear from those who know the area best.

The public consultation questionnaire will be available from Thursday 30 July until 12 noon on Sunday 16 August.
Feedback received during the consultation will help shape the next stage of the proposal and inform future decision-making.

Council officers will be on hand throughout the event to explain the proposal, answer questions and listen to feedback from residents, businesses and visitors.
Alderman James Baird, Chair of the Regeneration and Growth Committee, said: "We want to hear from everyone who has an interest in Lambeg. Whether you live in the area, run a local business, visit regularly or simply travel through the village, your views matter. This consultation is an opportunity to help shape proposals that could improve parking, accessibility and safety for the local community, so I would encourage everyone to get involved and have their say."
The proposal includes a potential 13-space car park on Station Road, including accessible and parent-and-child parking spaces, subject to community feedback and the necessary approvals.
