Each year, we decide on areas within the council that we want to improve to make our services even more efficient, accessible and impactful for those we serve.

Over recent years, we have successfully implemented a range of improvement projects, and we remain committed to building on this progress.

How you can get involved:

Review our Performance Improvement Objectives for 2025/26 to explore our plans for the year ahead.

Join a focus group and share your insights at one of our community sessions taking place on:

  • Monday 14th April, 5.00pm to 7.00pm: Lagan Valley Island
  • Tuesday 15th April, 12.30pm to 2.30pm: Castlereagh Hills Golf Course
  • Thursday 17th April, 12.30pm to 2.30pm: Lagan Valley LeisurePlex

A British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will be present at each of the focus groups. Register your place here.

Take our online survey before Friday 9th May 2025 and give us your feedback here.

Alderman Paul Porter, Chair of the Governance and Audit Committee, emphasised the importance of public participation: “Your voice is invaluable in helping us improve the area. By sharing your views, you help ensure that our proposed plans help to meet the real needs of our community. I encourage everyone to take part and help make a difference.”

Stay connected with us on social media for updates and further opportunities to get involved.
