Join Jenna from Sychar's Well for a creative and experimental morning block printing your own set of four, linen napkins. The workshop will begin with participants learning about pattern making, and will spend some time experimenting with Jenna's own hand-cut blocks to create your own unique pattern. After learning printing techniques and test printing on paper, you will hand print your own unique pattern on to four, 40cm, linen napkins which will be fully washable, so you can take home and treasure. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. Please note, we will be working with textile ink which adheres to fabric, so please either bring an apron or do not wear your finery! Join Jenna from Sychar's Well to learn how to block print your own ruffled linen cushion cover. This creative, hands-on session will begin with pattern making and experimenting with hand-cut blocks. After learning printing techniques and test printing on paper, you will handprint your own unique pattern on a beautiful linen cushion cover. You will go home with a beautifully decorated, handprinted linen cushion cover to treasure or to gift. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. Please note that as we will be working with textile ink, it is necessary to bring an old apron or to not wear your finery!
