Storm Éowyn has passed and we are continuing to work to reopen facilities affected by the very strong winds on Friday 24 January.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind between 10am and 7pm on Sunday 26 January. These forecasted winds may cause further disruption to the infrastructure which is currently being repaired and cleared.

Community Assistance Centres
Our four Community Assistance Centres (CACs) will be open on Monday 27 January from 9am to 5pm.
These are located at:
- Lagan Valley LeisurePlex (showers available)
- Hillsborough Village Centre
- Lough Moss Leisure Centre (showers available)
- Dundonald International Ice Bowl
Come along to charge your devices and get a hot beverage.
Work from home hubs
For anyone without power Work from Home Hubs with wifi are available from 9am to 5pm at the following locations
- Arts Centre, Lagan Valley Island
- Bridge Community Centre
- Moneyreagh Community Centre

Football pitches
Our 3G and 4G pitches are open. All grass pitches are closed on Sunday 26 January.
Household Recycling Centres
The Cutts and Carryduff sites are open. Drumlough is closed.
Bin and box collections
Our council teams will endeavour to collect all bins that were due to have been collected on Friday 24 January during the week commencing Monday 27 January. Please present your bins at the kerbside for 6am on Monday 27 January and leave it until it has been emptied.
Bryson Recycling will collect missed wheelie and kerbie boxes on Friday 31 January along with additional bags of sorted recycling.
