Through Local Government Reform we have a significantly increased role in urban regeneration and community development. Schemes will include town and city regeneration and area-based regeneration schemes.
Whilst we continue to progress ongoing regeneration projects and city centre initiatives, along the Lagan Corridor and across other areas of the city, we work continually to identify new regeneration initiatives that will enhance the new council area and support economic growth and development.
We continue to work with many partners and stakeholders to ensure that economic and environmental regeneration opportunities are fully utilised for the benefit of the whole area.
