This notice details how personal data is processed by the Data Controller (Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council) in relation to the Labour Market Partnership.
You have a legal right to know how personal information will be processed (used) when you engage with the Labour Market Partnership Skills Boost for Business Growth Grant Programme. Any personal information you provide to the programme will be managed in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
How personal information will be used
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council/Labour Market Partnership will use the personal information provided to:
- To deliver the Skills Boost for Business Growth Grant Programme
- To monitor the effectiveness of the Skills Boost for Business Growth Grant Programme
- To monitor Equality of Opportunity.
- For audit, compliance and regulatory reporting purposes where there may be disclosure of your information to auditors and, if required, to governmental and non-governmental regulators.
Will it be shared with anyone else?
As well as the above, personal information may be shared internally with staff to administer the programme. Additionally, we are required to share your personal information with selected contractors appointed as delivery agents as part of the programme. This is necessary to provide you with the correct assistance and advice, whilst focusing on your needs. We will also share statistics with our programme funders, but this will not identify you.
We may also, in certain circumstances, share your personal information where there is an obligation to do so, or where the law permits.
Legal basis
The council requires a legal basis to use personal information. The legal basis under which LCCC/LMP will process:
- personal information - is under Article 6(1)(e) of the UK GDPR for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest
- sensitive’ personal information - is Article 9, (2) (g) of the UK GDPR for reasons of substantial public interest, for employment and equal opportunities monitoring and Part 2 of Schedule 1,6 of the DPA 2018 for statutory and government purposes
- statistics (non-identifiable) information shared with programme funders - is Article 9 (2) (j) of the UK GDPR for Archiving, research and statistics and Part1, Schedule 4 of the DPA 2018 for Statutory and government purposes
Security of personal information
Personal data will be retained and stored securely at all times, in electronic or paper form.
How long we hold personal information
You may withdraw your participation in this programme at any time by contacting the LMP Team by email to lmp@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk
However, personal information held on the programme will be retained by the council for a minimum of 10 years and will be reviewed for destruction in line with the legal requirements of the programme funders and LCCC.
Your rights
