The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Andrew Gowan, raised over £28,000 for his chosen charity Cancer Fund for Children at his Gala Dinner and Charity Fundraiser, sponsored by leading telecoms and IT provider, eir evo UK. Former Northern Ireland Captain Aaron Hughes took part in a special Q&A.
The use of the spectacular Larchfield Estate was gifted by Gavin and Sarah Mackie.

The group was established as an all-ages choir bringing parents, children and young people affected by cancer together to relax, build relationships, and provide the opportunity for them to share their experiences of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
