The Garden of Reflection at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn, was officially opened on Thursday 23rd May 2019.
The garden features a stone sculpture and four benches, which are engraved with the names of children who have been lost through miscarriage, by being born asleep or through neonatal loss, as well as any young person who has sadly passed away under the age of 18.
Relatives can visit the garden at any time to remember those who are so dear to them.
Every year, the Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council leads a remembrance ceremony at the Garden of Reflection.
This year’s ceremony will take place on Friday 22nd May 2026. The service will be broadcast live on Facebook at 2pm.
The deadline to add a name to this year's plaque has passed.
