Environmental Information Regulations 2004

These regulations give people a right of access to information about the activities of public authorities that relate to or affect the environment, unless there is a good reason for them not to have the information.

You can make an Environmental Information Request (EIR) relating to environmental information that a public authority holds (for example, information about air, water, soil, land, landscape, marine areas, biodiversity, energy, noise and waste etc) which isn't relating to personal data or general data.
