New Building Illumination Policy - Application Process Open
Our policy on building illuminations has changed. All applications for 2025 must now be submitted by 4pm on Wed 20th November 2024. To view our new policy please click here.
The new policy aims to improve the process for charities and organisations requesting to light up Lagan Valley Island and Union Bridge, helping to raise awareness for your cause.
As a council, we are keen to support charities and causes, and lighting up our civic headquarters in the nominated colour is one way we can do this.
If your charity or organisation would like to highlight a charity or cause in 2025, please submit your request to us by Wed 20 November 2024 using the Building Illuminations 2025 form.
Requests should include details about the cause, your charity number (if applicable), your preferred date, and the colour you'd like for the illumination. Eligibility criteria applies.
Please note building illumination requests submitted after 20 November will not be accepted.
