Classroom Assistant Employment Academy (for women returners)

The Classroom Assistant Academy supports women to return to work following an extended career break. This programme is aimed at unemployed or economically inactive women who wish to build confidence, refresh skills, and work towards industry recognised qualifications leading to a guaranteed job interview with a local employer.

Who can apply?

Candidates must meet the following criteria to apply:

  • A resident of the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area
  • Be unemployed or work less than 16 hours per week. Preference will be given to those who are economically inactive or long-term unemployed
