Street trading

If you are wishing to sell goods or offer a service in a street or public place, you must have a valid Street Trading Licence.

There are three types of street trading licence:

• stationary licence to trade from a designated permanent pitch
• licence to trade as a mobile trader
• temporary licence for event

If you would like more information or want to apply for a street trading licence please email ehealth@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk or phone 028 9244 7300 to ask for an application. 

Once you have completed your application form you can either:

• email a copy to ehealth@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk  
• post a copy to

Please include a cheque for the relevant fee payable to Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council. Payments can also be made by card over the phone by phoning 028 9244 7300.

You can submit valid certificates (or other relevant documentation) by post or by email to ehealth@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk 

You can also visit our customer reception on the ground floor at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn during office hours to make your application, collect forms or pay your fee.
