Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s PEACEPLUS Partnership invites communities to the launch of its PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan
The Lisburn & Castlereagh PEACEPLUS Partnership is delighted to invite communities, groups and individuals from the Lisburn and Castlereagh area to their launch event celebrating approximately £3.8m worth of funding under the PEACEPLUS Programme. The funding will be used to support locally based projects and initiatives that will promote positive relations between people from different communities and backgrounds.
Projects will be delivered under three key areas:
1. Community Regeneration & Transformation
2. Thriving & Peaceful Communities
3. Celebrating Cultures & Diversity
The launch event will be held on Wednesday, 5th November 2025 at 10.30am at the Island Hall, Civic Centre, Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn 10.30am (registration) followed by lunch at 12 noon.
